PGD is proud to have been chosen once again to help generate more Game of Thrones buzz. This time, we’re brought on by Penguin Random House to help launch George R. R. Martin’s new book, The World of Ice & Fire. What better way to kickstart a new product than to invite influencers like Jimmy Fallon and Neil Patrick Harris to share some premium swag with the rest of the world?
When you gotta get people talking about the newest product these days, we’re happy to be the go-to agency to help GOT generate some serious noise. It’s not always about how much money you throw at a marketing problem but how clever you can get about attracting attention.
George R. R. Martin’s new book available in stores nationwide today!

BuzzFeed.com features a PGD Classic.
PGD is proud to have helped develop the Fox Kids Network and produce the Totally Kids Magazine for over 13 years. This quarterly magazine was the largest circulated kids magazine in publishing history (5 million in circulation and over 12 million readers). Hopefully TKM encouraged its readers to look at life in a more magical, humorous and creative way.
Thanks to all those who were part of that most fun era. (Here’s an archive we found of a full issue!)

Task
Create branding & packaging art to launch a new product from Pay Dirt Gold Company. Pay Dirt Gold has licensed from Discovery’s hit show GOLD RUSH the rights to produce a gold panning at home kit that includes actual pay dirt with gold particles — just add water and go through the traditional panning routine.
Challenge
Gold pans have been around for over 100 years and are not the easiest object to grab consumer’s attention. A dramatic package and display had to ignite the gold fever that is happening in the world today with the current value of gold continuing to skyrocket. Now… get people to purchase this new innovative product through big box retail outlets.
Result
PGD has provided all graphic elements and print production for this new product line and the Gold Rush has already begun. “Sales have been beyond our wildest expectations!” says Scott Brownsberger, CEO of Pay Dirt Gold Company. “I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and work PGD has provided us.”

Task
In preparation for the launch of Game of Thrones Season 3, we were called upon to produce 200 entirely custom, handcrafted velvet lined wooden gift boxes with a hidden drawer and custom engraved covers. These would go out to the top bloggers and celebrity fans of the show.
Challenge
From Beyoncé to Bruno Mars, this is a pretty tough crowd and they definitely need to be blown away. Did we mention this had to be done in 45 days?
Result
We’ve collected some of the responses below. We think they speak for themselves…
Be sure to watch the rest of Season 3, Sundays 9 pm — www.hbo.com/#/game-of-thrones

PGD client Keith Marz and his son, Brandon Marz, pitched their line of oral sprays, Marz Sprays, to billionaire investors on ABC’s hit television show, “Shark Tank,” which aired October 12, 2012.
The “Sharks,” who include Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Kevin O’Leary grilled the father and son team and after a feisty and energetic battle between O’Leary and Greiner, Marz Sprays made a deal with Greiner, better known as the “Queen of QVC.” “I look forward to working with Marz Sprays to help millions of people have healthier lifestyles which is very important to me, and I know this will be a great relationship,” said Greiner.
Congratulations to Keith and Brandon Marz!
